Easy Hike
The road has a few high clearance spots, but not bad. The road ends at the top of steep section beyond comm sta. We parked at saddle and followed spotty use trail to summit.

Easy hike - great views
The last 4 miles of road was actually quite, very eroded and washed out in parts. I parked 0.6 miles below the towers. The last part up to the towers was extremely eroded and would require some tricked up vehicle.
Easy and short hike with incredible views! Cold and windy day.
We started out around six a.m., give or take, and were up and down in no time. Great views, especially the changing light as the sun came up. This was to be a warm up for the main course, which was Tipton on the other side of the valley.
Got the CR-V up to the base of the final climb. Started hiking from there...very quick ascent to the radio towers. I was surprised by the spectacular views as we picked our way across the main ridge! Very windy today. Nice short, easy, and fun one before heading back home to PHX.

Hiked this with my son Travis, my brother Eric and his son Matt. Breezy and pleasantly cool conditions prevailed and the views were great.

Ridge route
Grabbed this one before returning to Utah. My wife was interested in seeing the new bridge being built near Hoover dam so I combined that with a trip to this mountain. About 3 miles round trip from where we parked. The views from the ridge and the summit were nice and the summit was neat with its mailbox register and benchmark. A bit windy but not hot which was nice. Less than two hours round trip including the time on the top. Grabbed Scrub BM on the way home.

Last Auto in
Got Honda to Radio Facility. This is the last
time a car will ever get this high. Good use route from
here to top. Was limping a bit after Mount Wilson,
but route was still within my limited powers.

stormy weather
Following the recent tragedies on Annapurna, I felt it necessary to show the weather gods that we humans were still supreme. We picked this mighty summit, starting our hike some time well after 4PM.
CP beat me by about 1 minute on the round trip, but I had the security of knowing that my pack contained gortex pants and lots of cold weather and emergency gear, in case we had to bivy high in the thin cold air.
I bet the view was great, but I was mainly looking at the path in front of me, and the clouds swirling nearby.

Easy hike along the ridge
I followed Scott's excellent directions and drove to the end of the road. It is an easy hike along the ridge to the highpoint. It is further than it looks, about 1.25 mile and it took me about 1.5 hour for the round trip hike.
