Mount McLoughlin

Mount McLoughlin

Mount McLoughlin viewed from off of the Dead Indian Memorial Highway, west of Ashland. I think that this is the most photogenic of the mountain's profiles. I plan to go back in the spring for an evening shot. Feb2012.

Re: perfect!

Thanks! Viewed from the south, it does have classic, Fuji like lines. Given the propensity to observe it from the east and west, the southern perspective is very, very overlooked.

Re: perfect!

Hey, Bubba ...? Is this harder to climb than
Mount Adams ?

Re: perfect!

On the contrary, I imagine that it is much easier. I have not climbed Adams, but Mcloughlin is a simple dayhike, albeit with some serious elevation gain. Keep in mind that McLoughlin is approximately 3,000 feet shorter than Adams.
