Good collection of resources, but I don't think the peak should be added to the Great Western Divide group. As far as I know, that designation only applies to the Sawtooth-Stewart-Milestone-Brewer-etc. ridge. Kaweah Peaks Ridge is a separate spur ridge off this.

Dry "Lake"

If anyone else is eyeing the small lake (shown as a lake on the Tom Harrison and Nat Geo maps) as a camp near the base of Mt. Kaweah, just off the High Sierra Trail, it is dry as of July 2015. We ended up still spending the night there, but we had to get water from a slow moving and murky tiny stream, which itself took some bushwhacking to find. I think it was an excellent camp spot, but be advised that the water situation might not be optimal!
