One of the Worst!  Sucess!

I'd assume during the spring time this might be a decent peak. But during July it is just an awful mountain! Tons of sticker bushes we had to go though, slick slopes, and wearing crampons on steep dirt. Definitely no peak for a newbie. If I had known what the mountain had to offer I probably would have waited until next year for some snow cover. On a positive note it had good views and the gullies were fun because they were filled with snow.

Thank God that storm miss you

On the day you climbed this peak, a rare but powerful thunderstorm was raging in Seattle. Looks like you both had a blast!!

East route  Sucess!

I would not recommend doing this peak in the summer unless you like endless bushwhacking through thorn bushes. This is probably the most challenging peak I have done on the Mountain Loop Highway. The steep dirt slope 100 feet below the the summit has no run-out and could be quite dangerous. Not for the faint of heart.
