South Ridge
Climbed Moolack as one of 9 summits during an amazing 4-day backpacking trip in the Sawtooths. Left our big packs at the Baron/Moolack saddle. Tedious loose climbing until the summit block, which was challenging class III+ when approached from the south ridge. Trip Report

Lots of Loose rock
Day hiked this from Lake 8271 just south of Sawtooth lake. Got to the Baron/Moolack saddle from its east side. Did Moolack and then Baron. Moolack is full of loose rock. The final scramble from in between Moolack's two summits is fun but the rest of the approach from the Baron/Moolack saddle isn't all that enjoyable.

Fall Solitude
Went up Moolack Creek to the saddle and followed the West ridge to the sumit. Left a summit bottle. Old Tin can at top. Snow on all north sides from about 7,000 and up. Saw no one all day even at car. Perfectly Sunny and 60F Trail ran the approach.
