I did Spring Break here in 1999. It's a really charming area.
A few errors:
- Mont Tremblant isn't rated #1 in North America...just eastern North America. The folks at Vail and Whistler would be shocked!
- There are a bunch of spelling errors. Try cutting and pasting into word to fix them.
- The camping info needs real data. Give us a phone number to rangers, and other info that would help if someone wanted to camp.
- A route page would help. Right now we don't know how to get up there!

It is interesting about the elevation, i did not have my gps with me, i forgot it. I did get the elevation right off the hiking trail map made by the ski area and had no reason to question it, but now i will. as for the corddinates i found them on a website, it is a shame that topozone does not cover our canadian brothers in the north.
The elevation is 968. The house that I stayed at is owned by a friend of the family. he has a GPS and has taken it to the top. He told me that it is 968m.
It was not much fog, the clouds were low, about 700 m. I was thinking about the elevation, I think the ski area would want as much vertical as they can have, so when they meet other ski ares they can whip out their "elevations" so they can compare size. Oh well the bigger the better.
968 m sounds right for the main summit (Johannsen peak). Summit of the ski station is White peak, which is around 871 m as stated above. Johannsen peak can be hiked from the national park via the "Toit des Laurentides" trail ("Roof of the Laurentians"). Elevation gain about 2000 feet. No views from the actual summit, just a plaque commemorating 100 years of Parcs Québec.
