Re: 4 secondsHi Jim, thanks very much. Summits are just fantastic but my favorite part of any climb is the first couple of hours, in the early hours of the morning, by the light of the moon, it's so peaceful. And, it's before the exhaustion sets in and you wonder what the heck you're doing there!!

Definitly not the summit of MönchThis is definitely not the summit of Mönch. This picture was taken far below the summit, under the steep ice/snow section leading to the summit ridge and of course under the summit ridge connecting the shoulder with the summit.
From the summit "Trugberg" is much lower and also the snow mobiles garage in Mönchsjoch can't be seen.
