From Styx Pass
Climbed this peak after hiking up Cherry Creek Canyon from Cherry Lake. The canyon was amazing, especially with all the water from the heavy winter. From Styx pass this is a short climb with some good views.

Route Climbed: West Slope (ascent) / South Slope (descent) Date Climbed: June 6, 2003
June 6, 2003: Hiked up the granite staircase on the west slopes, then descended the south slopes. This was a short sidetrip during an early season visit to Cherry Creek Canyon (IMO, the most beautiful place I've seen in the Sierra). Nice views for very little effort.
July 22, 2006: Stopped up here again while on my way to Haystack Peak and Schofield Peak, on an ambitious loop overnighter. Stunning views again.
