Very nice piece

I really enjoyed reading your trip-report. Nice to think you can be up on the rocks and actually have your mind wonder off this way... or maybe it's the drink session that followed!!??

Keep your passion for climbing, it will bring fond memories for later.

Re: Very nice piece

Thanks Fabien! Actually all the "heady" stuff swirled in my brain for a few months after before finally coming out as something I could make sense of. That's why it's an article and not a trip report :). I imagine folks would get mad just wanting an old fashioned TR and getting "...as I mused on the implications of...blah blah". :D

Interesting

I'm 32 now and sometimes I can be really happy not to be 20 anymore... sometimes I miss it too... Interesting read mvs.

Re: Interesting

Thanks for the note. I was telling an even older (~55) friend about my thoughts and he reminded me that NO, there is NOT enough time, GO DO IT NOW! So a sense of urgency is not all bad. Anyway, I'm really excited to visit the Pala Dolomites this summer...never been there...

Re: Excellent report!

Thanks, it was a really fun day, and I can't wait to climb more in the Brenta.
