Me standing at the west rim of Sherman Crater with "Pooch Peak" beyond. It is reported that Pooch has not yet been climbed. That is a strawman comment. Note the tracks on the snow dome leading over to Sherman Peak. An unpleasant place to be climbing when noxious sulfur fumes are wafting past you. June 25, 2000.
