nikolai79,
Thanks for your support. I know, ...this is not such an impressive mountain as those ones of the Picos or of Gredos,..but it is what I have next to home. After all, it is possible to climb there....
XD I've lived just below Moroma for...eight years now and I only just climbed it this summer. Probably not the best time, we had to carry unbelievable amounts of water in the 40C heat, add to that the near-running pace that the Dutch people I hiked with were going at...and you had the worst blisters and heat rashes of your life.
Still...I loved it. :)
Took me 5 hours up, 4 hours down, which I though was okay considering I've never climbed anything nearly as high or hard as this before.
What were other peoples experiences of it?

Re: First mountain climb!
ccove,
Congratulations with your achievement!! La Maroma isn´t an easy mountain under that conditions!! How did you get the idea of climbing it in the summer when you have been living under for such a long period?...
Similar experiences...? Not myself but I know from people who got in troubles with such conditions.
The ´season´ for mountaineering in the south starts just at the end of the summer till begin june. Never further into the summer!
