This section of the route takes you to Buck Lake. It is 5 miles from waypoint to waypoint which adds up to 12 miles overall. Buck Lake area makes a great camp spot thanks to the availability of water and after 12 miles with a pack, a welcome spot. Those with more stamina and/or desire could probably push all the way to the mountain itself and camp there (snow may be available into late July). Please do not vote on these maps, they are intended only to give an idea of the route we took.
