"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

circular routeWith a group. It was misty all day and we saw very little of the scenery between the pine trees, but the pillars were visible when we finished the loop. I can't remember the name of the village we started at, but on the way down we nearly missed the bus. It had snowed on El Teide and the traffic within the park area was horrendous. I think there was one-way only and the bus didnt stop at the usual place. As I was leading at the time, it was a bit scarey. I thought I wouldnt be able to get the group home for their tea!

Organos Loop trailClimbed between, through and up to the Organos pillars. Weather was good but the organ pipes defied being portrayed on photos.
