Looking up the drainage on...
Looking up the drainage on the northwest side of Enchantment Peak with Cannon Mountain just out of sight to the left and Colchuck Balanced Rock on the right. This has got to be the shortest approach to the mountain--especially in early season--but the cirque headwall could be problematic. Photo taken March 22, 2004 from near the Pioneer Creek-Eightmile Creek confluence.
