Looking up at the summit...
Looking up at the summit (left of center) a short distance up the long talus slope of the Northeast Shoulder route. The route ascends to the rounded notch just left of the summit buttress. During the early part of the ascent the prominent pillar at right appears higher than the summit, but it gradually becomes apparent that it is only a sub-peak.
