excellent

Your photography is magnificent! Obviously due in great part to your skills as a photographer- but what camera do you use for these shots?

Re: excellent

Thanks for the compliment. I usually use a Canon SLR a high quality zoom lense for most of my shots that are on here. The lens is really much more important than the camera used. I shoot slide film which can hold greater color contrast than negative film, and then scan the slides with a film scanner. Its a somewhat time consuming process. I also have a small digital Canon Elph that I substitute when I don't feel like lugging a heavy camera around. Its capable of good photographs for web display but its somewhat limiting in terms of creative control. Good pictures can be taken in the middle of the day, but personally, the most interesting light is found at sunrise and sunset...and the light is what makes all the difference many times.

Re: excellent

An excellent online resource for information on photography can be found below. I have learned quite a bit from this site.

Re: excellent

Thanks! That is dedication to photography to carry a SLR and a big lense- but it pays off it the quality of your shots.
