Lone Pine Creek

After crossing the Eastern tip of Consultation Lake, I had the option of continuing North to meet the Whitney Trail or just following the Lone Pine Creek until I'd eventually run into the trail down in this valley. Climbing down on these rocks was much harder than it looks. I would not say difficult, but at the end of a day with so much scree and boulders, this was more tiring than I hoped. I am sure it save me distance and time, but I am not sure it was worth the trouble. Picture with the route here 7/14/2016
