Lincoln's Flowers

Mount Lincoln seen from the its connecting slope with Mount Bross as flowers cover the ridge. Mount Lincoln was named in honor of Abraham Lincoln, shortly after he was elected 16th president of the United States.

These flowers...

don't look like Mountain Bluebells.
Also, mountain bluebells grow only in wet areas below alpine zones.

Sorry...I guess I'm not exactly sure what they are. I can't define it in my wildflower book.

No problem. Since it is more of a photo of Mt. Lincoln identifying them it not critical ;) Great shot, by the way.

Great shot!

Beautiful colors. Very nice contrast between the sky, the talus, the peak, and the flowers.

The entire place was completely desolate, expect for this patch of flowers. Weird but cool.
