Bighorn species. Not that they wouldn't have

have a geology/hydrology background.
Geology was on a much larger scale back then.
The Aztec Sandstone of the Lower Jurassic
is very similar to the Schnebly Hill sandstone making up the spires of Sedona.
Of course, their "windblown origin" suggests
that it was very windy in the Jurassic Period, so climate change is also key.
