what is commonly mistaken as a bolt war is in reality just one deluded person vandalizing and stealing anything he can.
The perp is a well known local rap-bolter; the vandalism is strictly a personal attack on the people that have worked hard and at great expense to make this a "destination" climbing area.
Nice post on the route though - lets hope it stays intact!

Yes true enough. The whole El Cajon mnt area is in disrepair. there must be a hundred routes there but almost nothing on SP! I was trying to get something started. I think that the religious wars that were going on there, made most people shy. I will try to improve the page. It seemed like something was better than nothing. Do you want to adopt? Adopt me that is, I have seen your climbing exploits and I want you to bring me along.
Adopt you? HAHA! You've got to be able to go climbing mid-week Jeff! Dave and I climbed at El Cajon 3 times in a week and pretty much did everything below 10a; yes there are lots of routes more difficult, but it was pretty warm out there....(and I was hung-over on Sunday). Seriously, if you have time to climb during the week, let's go for it!
