Larchtime in the Enchantments
The Enchantments had some early snow that served to highlight the beauty of the Alpine Larch trees that turn a golden color during October before the needles drop from the trees. This superb picture of Prusik Peak and Temple Ridge, with Talisman and Rune lakes in the foreground was taken by Tom Davenport and a Canon G3 camera. Taken on a recent day traverse (17 miles) of the Enchantments.
