Land of Orange Clouds

The clouds in the Four Corners area of the U.S. can take on an awesome orange color. I've seen this twice--once while visiting Monument Valley, and the second time a few years later while about 25 miles east of Monument Valley. When the clouds take on this color, the light for photography is unbelievable. I've never seen this effect anywhere else. Perhaps that is part of the magic of this mystical region of the American southwest. Imaged in August 2007.
