More peaks

There are several lacs de Chéserys and also you can see much more peaks in this image. Left to Right: Mont Mallet, Aig. de Rochefort, Aig. du Geant, Pointe Yeld, Clochers de la Noire, Doigt de l'Etala, Aig. de la Republique, Aig. des Grans Charmoz, (Aig. de Blaitière), Pointe de Chamonix, Aig. du Fou, Pointe de Lépiney, Dent du Caiman, Dent du Crocodile, Aig. du Plan, Aig des Deux Angles, Aig. des Pelerins, Aig. du Peigne and Rognon du Plan.

In this view is difficult to discern some aiguilles from others. It may be that I'm wrong on some peaks.

Is there anybody who can say any more? Can we see also Aig. des Petits Charmoz and Aig. de l'M? Thanks.

Beautiful!

Wow, this is a beautiful shot alpenkalb! I love the vivid color of the lake and the foreground against the distant mountains backdrop. Thanks for sharing it with us. It reminds me of the new 'Lord of the Rings' movie for some strange reason :-)

Nice you like it. I have some more, I try to scan this afternoon. Picture was taken with Leica CL, 90 mm Elmarit, Fuji 100 ASA, negative.

Re: Hobbits

"Hobbits" are dwarfs that occur in the famous fantasy-book-trilogy from J.R.R. Tolkeen "Herr der Ringe"="Lord of the Rings". You can watch the first part of the story in every cinema near you now. There are sometimes great landscape-sceneries in the movie - filmed in New Zealand.
