Such a rustic quaint town at the base of that massive beauty!

The village is the last one in a long and deep valley. The small road is closed during winter because of snow and avalanches. Only 1 inhabitant is staying here all the year. La Bérarde is a real mountain village. Not like Chamonix or Zermatt wich are artificial towns only made to make money.
