WowWinter wonderland, would be great with skis!

Re: WowThen it was close to 3m of snow! Powder was amazing, perhaps even too soft for skis. Those in front where falling through the snow to the waist :-) Now must be great when snow has settled and become harder.

What a ...beautiful shot. So much snow. This is the dream of every skier. I see a group of skiers enjoing this extraordinary and a little bit dangerous experience. What about the avalanche risk index?
Thanks for the picture

Re: What a ...Thanks very much cedad! And you welcome for the picture! There 3m of snow here but don't know what would be official avalanche risk index. My guess is not that high on sides that are not steep (2 maybe) but on steeper slopes cloud be even 5! This was amazing powder; it was so hard to go anywhere. Even with snow shoes you would go below knees! Could have been too soft for skis, maybe even for board. But once snow settles Komna is paradise for tour and off piste skiing.

Re: Out Of This WorldThanks very much Bryan! I love the photo but never thought it would draw this much attention and positive reaction. Otherwise would have shared it much earlier. But that's funny side of it; not knowing what people will like :-)
Cheers,
Aleksandar
