Good shotthe cheeky bird. Hey, if you can, check out one of placing award winning photo shot in the New Zealand Alpine Clubs, Climber magazine, last issue. A serendipitous shot on Avalanche Peak catching a Kea rising with wings spread....the colours are superb.

Re: Good shotHa yes, I also almost caught one with his wings spread out, if it wasn't for the bloody autofocus that took forever!! Nearly threw my camera into the abyss in frustration. I'll see if I can find the kea shot you mentioned.
