Beautiful route!
I did it on August 16th in not so good weather and then on the following morning in much better weather. It's the day that the famous "Putsch" happened in Russia, that's how come I remember the exact date even after all those years...I was amazed at how easy - technically spoken it's nothing more difficult than taking your dog out for a walk - the ascent is until the Kleiner Muntanitz! And the "key passage" over which so much fuss and bother is made is in reality an easy scramble, well secured in addition with a metal rope and perfectly simple for a steady mountain walker. I couldn't understand why everybody finds this so dramatic! The scenery you get though on this route is beautiful - there were parts where I was reminded of the german saying: "Only flying is more beautiful!"

Nice one
A nice way to reach an easy three-thousander with wonderful landscapes. If you suffer when scrambling down, I'd advice to turn back at Kleiner Muntanitz.
