Awesome Report

Great photos! I’ve hiked a lot in the Tetons but would like to explore more of Yellowstone and other nearby mountain ranges.

Re: Awesome Report

Thanks. We really enjoyed the trip. While we love traveling and hiking with our dogs it was tough when we hiked in GTNP or YNP knowing that we had a limited amount of time before we had to get back to them. It would have been nice to be able to take advantage of the long days and do some really long dayhikes.

Re: Excellent

Thanks. We encountered far more wildlife on this trip than we ever have on our usual trips to Colorado. The amount of wildlife in Northeast Yellowstone alone is amazing -- and we were there in July which is typically not one of the "best" times for wildlife.

great!

I hope lots of people take a look at this before planning their own trip.

Super photos, too!

Re: great!

Thanks. Not sure if you remember, but I reached out to you in early 2009 for Yellowstone Northern Range suggestions. It was definitely helpful as it's hard for a first time YNP visitor to pick from the miles and miles of trails in the park. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Re: great!

I remember now. :)

Happy to help, but you went far beyond any suggestions I had. Looks like a great trip!

Re: Nice photos

Thanks! We really enjoyed all the wildlife too. Still makes me laugh that our "sketchiest" wildlfife encounter was with a mule deer. Never thought I was going to be charged by a deer until this trip!

Re: Great TR!

Thanks. We are definitely ready to go back and explore different areas. Unfortunately that will have to wait until next year at the earliest...

Cool

Really nice photos, I liked the trail shots. Gives you a good feeling of what its like hiking the trail.

Re: Cool

Thanks. I always take a handful of trail shots like that to add perspective - as opposed to just distant landscape shots.

Re: Good job

Thanks! I had not realized how much we had truly done over two weeks until I started pulling together the TR.

Re: Spectacular report/pics

That was my first time in the Wyoming/Montana area. Definitely will be planning a return trip! Glacier is also on our list as we've never been there.
