From the Vantage PointThe forest in the background that engulfs the pyramid looks a lot like the one in Cambodia -- the ruins of Angkor Watt.

Chichen Itza TravestyI have received several questions from fellow SPers wanting to visit Chichen Itza. Due to idiotic tourists defacing the structures with grafitti, you can no longer climb the Temple of the Sun as seen in my profile pic.

Too badI climbed that when I was a kid (well, high school, at any rate). I hope you can still climb Tikal, which is probably the best Mayan ruin I've ever summited.

Climbing TikalClimbed to the top of Temple IV, 230 feet, at Tikal back in April. Amazing place!
