Jefferson Park Glacier (Up Close)

Jefferson Park Glacier (Up Close)

This was one of those climbs where any given 50' section of the route was fine but when you add it all together, it was pretty hairy. The runout was steep and super long. We used two axes, front pointed the whole way, and placed a ton of pickets. And when it was all said and done, the final crevasse shut us down anyway since it was totally melted out from one side of the glacier all the way across to the other! We'll be back.
