The summit view from Iof de Miezegnot towards the west. Fog covers Val Canale. In the distance main summits of Carnian Alps are seen, among them (in the middle) also Hohe Warte / Monte Coglians. December 6th, 2003.

Hm, my Italian is poor, and I didn't find in Google translator what 'gracco' means. I think the two English words for this bird are: 'daw' and 'crow'. We call it 'kavka', or 'planinska kavka' = 'mountain crow'.

And, I admire your alpinistic accomplishments. You are really doing great tours and it's so good that you share them on the best mountaineering site on the web, which SummitPost intends to be ;)

Looks like a duck

I'm probably wrong, as ducks don't characteristically inhabit alpine zones, but the webbed feet have me puzzled. Any clear headed orthologists out there? Great picture though--balmy and sharp.
