Re: Nice photo!Southern AZ, namely the Tucson Mtns north of the heavily traveled Gates Pass Road.
The only (other place) where I saw them was @ Canyon Lake near the Salt River and Santa
Catalina State Park, (near a permanent water source), several years ago.
Another great spot to see them is at Valley
of Fire State Park in your neck of the woods! !
On rare occasions, you can spot them not too far from I-15 while traveling through Virgin River gorge in route to St. George, UT.

These guys (and gals) roam the desert all year.
Horn size is a symbol of rank, and male horns can weigh as much as 30 lbs.
