Amazing!This is a very unusual photograph with many strong elements. I've never seen such a dense patch of Yareta plants. Did you know that Yaretas usually only grow above 10,500 feet and can live for over 3000 years.

Re: Amazing!In this area, I've seen them between 16000 and 17000 ft. Higher up, apart from some lichens, there is no vegetation. Lower down you'll find some grasses and shrubs. But at 10500 ft, people grow crops!
