Images of the Königssee

After having a look to Eric Chu's Königssee and Wolfgangsee album, I remembered I had posted some time ago some pictures of a half-day-visit to the Attersee, Austrian Alps's largest lake and spiritual home of the painter Gustav Klimt. The pictures were then, with more or less success, attached to their corresponding peaks, but here is the lake album...

I enjoyed this! :-))

Beautiful photos you posted, all of them!! I feel very honored that it was I who inspired you!! :-) The Attersee is place I know quite well, too. One of today's great classical musicians, to whom I payed a visit years ago, has a lovely house in Unterach. It's all in all a very pleasant and relaxing area, and to this day one of the real "points de rencontre" for artists! The one disappointment for me, though, I've got to say this, was Gustav Mahler's "Komponierhäusl". Why in the name of God did they (whoever "they" are) have to choose precisely that particular spot to put up a camping site? How COULD they?
All the best to you, dear visentin,
Eric (MauriceRavel)

Thanks ! I didn't know about the campsite, we slept at a nice agrotouristic guesthouse in Weyregg...
