12/13/04: Having some fun on Pennsylvania Mountain's broad and flat summit. Note how wind-swept the area is: barely any snow in mid-December! The peaks in the background include a sampling of what was visible to the NE.

Hasn't voted | Nice shot. Looks like a mountain with views.

Hasn't voted | The views: that is one of the biggest draws the mountains have on me. Hopefully the chicken enjoyed the views too, as it (he/she?) and his/her/its friends sat there a while, while we walked around the summit and took pictures of the surrounding mountains. Of course, when it comes to seeing great views, I know I've been outdone by that chicken many times over! :-)
Thanks for the comment,

Voted 10/10 | Brad, this is a sacred moment for Jim. Be careful when you snap a photo of the chicken without his permission. Your lucky the weather didn't turn on you. | | Posted Dec 14, 2004 9:56 pm |

Hasn't voted | Actually, it was shortly after this the breeze picked up and clouds overtook the sun... Maybe I should've taken the hint... At least I didn't get struck by lightning. | | Posted Dec 14, 2004 9:59 pm |
