What a great place to camp...

What a great place to camp this would be! This is Glacier Lake (8,166 ft) with Eagle Cap beyond. Here is another photo of the lake. August 19, 1998.

Blue and green...

...look terrific in your photos! So good, in fact, that I couldn't help myself - this just had to be the new Eagle Cap signature photo! Nicely done, and thanks!

Thanks, Bob. And you have no idea just how long it took me to get the red out. :emoticonwithtonguestickingout:

Re: Blue and green...

I may actually have some idea - some of my batches of slides have a serious red shift, and most of the time while working with those I don't get very far and give up. So if you're saying this one started out red, great job!! I've been trying hard to learn color balancing techniques for the last seven years with limited success - maybe I should read a book or something.

Re: Blue and green...

No, I didn't really try and alter the colors. This set just happened to come out perfectly. I actually have never tried to alter colors even though the function does exist on my scanner software.

Nice clown emoticon (fresh from nwhikers.net).

Beauti-ous

What a nice pic. One of the prettiest of this area that I've seen.

Fantastic series

of Wallowa pics! These must be the ones you mentioned when you were at the Portland SP meeting. Wow! Excellent.
