Yep - thats a trail! When the pulley bridge is down, and the river too high and swift to cross, this is the only way past the Dumordo channel just pass the Biafo turn-off. Scary, but spare a thought for ther porters carrying 30kgs on their backs and wearing ill-fitting rubber sand-shoes (Dave Hancock/Field Touring)
