Candidate for picture of the day. Great shot. 2nd really blue lake submission I have seen from Colorado in the last 2 days.

thanks a bunch. A foreground filled with colorful flowers would've topped it off (plus more sun), but it was still a memorable view!

I have been on this very slope, back in 1978, and found tiny sea shells littered all over the place.

Well, they must have climbed! The world's first mountain climbers! To them, though, Sneffels was way larger than Everest! An insermountable objective!
