Final ridge to Hasenöhrl, seen from the Fore-summit "Blaue Schneid". The ridge separates the Hasenöhrlferner glacier right from the Kuppelwieser Ferner glacier left (July 2002)

Great picture, but....

...not quite. Blaue Schneid is almost exactly where you have been standing while shootimg the picture. It's a crest that runs in east-westerly direction a little north of Hasenöhrl but some 200 - 300m lower..

Your pictures did quite an upgrade to the page quality. Thanks for sharing. Ever been on Grawand in the Ötztal Alps? Perhaps, while skiing? That will be the next one I'm going to post.
