This is taken from just above the top of the fixed rope, I think. The first time I got here I was alone, it was getting dark and misty and starting to snow. I couldn't see the hut and thought that it must be much further away. I put my head down and scrabbled up the snow - looking for a place to freeze to death - and almost bumped into the hut.
