On the way to the Qangringngoinza Massif.
Crossing a semi-frozen river in the middle of the Chang Tang in 2003. This time it was ok to cycle on the thin ice. At other times the ice broke.

I read your article "In to the unknown" on the Japanese Alpine News May 2007. It is so exciting and interesting. Thanks so much!
When I was young, I had very interesting for Chang Tang plateau where is unknown territorie like you, and made trip many timies on the map. But my plan had been not realized.
I realy respect you of action.

Hasn't voted | At the moment I'm in Lhasa, Tibet resting after about 70 days in the wilderness in the north. Have summited 9 peaks so far and cycled quite a bit (3300km), so now I need some time for rest. May stay here for more climbing or I may go to Argentina.
