The traverse from Vogelsang Pass can be seen extending to the left from the summit of Parsons Peak (center) in this view taken from Simmons Peak. Note the easy slope and unobstructed views to the north making this a fine, scenic hike. This view also shows the class 2 descent to Lewis Creek from the pass in the foreground, approximately where the reddish streak is in the talus. July 29, 2005
