I like this one more. The flowers in the foreground and the mountains are more apparent, making the photo more interesting and balanced. In the other shot, the clouds were the primary attraction. I also think they are redundant, strictly speaking.

Still, both are great shots!

For the same reasons he outlined. Yeah, they're redundant, but still beautiful.

Thanks guys. So should I dump one of them (first one)?

Following the new guidelines, probably. But there is no harm in providing a link to the other photo, which could be posted elsewhere.

It's your call, bro.

They are both phenominal photos, but show different perspectives. I would prefer they both remain.

Thanks! Did not see your note until today for some reason. Glad that you enjoyed the photos... When are we going to see more of your Teton beauties?

Thanks Radek. Are you coming to Cali this weekend? We should hang out sometime, man!! Maybe a drink in Portland in mid July when we visit?

Hey Misha.

Yeah, we were supposed to go the Valley but due to some NPS-related camping changes, we're probably gonna head further south (Lone Pine area/Russell maybe...........wondering how bad the snow is likely to get on approach mid-day though)?

Yeah - definitely up for some beer drinking (at least - given your tight schedule....basing this on your question reg. 1-day climbs in OR/WA earlier) when you guys pass thru. PDX. Keep us updated as to when that'll be (thinking another Portland SP get together??).

Looks like you have some more "fans" of this photo - I see the rating is now down <4 stars....WTF?? Standard sh.. I guess - oh well - outstanding shot (should be photo of the week).

Snow starts at around 10.5' in the Eastern Sierra right now. If you make the approach early in the day (before 9-10am) or late in the afternoon (after 3-4pm), it may be firm enough to walk on w/o postholing! Man, I really want to do Fishook Arete on Russell right now but have to wait a bit longer. Time, as you accurately guessed, is very limited right now.

Looks like we will be staying in Portland for 2 nights. I will post our schedule on the NW board later this week with specifics. It would be awesome to hang out while we are there!

As for the photo voting, well, what can you do. What goes around, comes around...

Another Sierra Nevada range site, but you already got it covered. A few shots not withstanding!
