Yes, they cleaned it up a bit. You can see now new bunkbeds, mattresses and pillows, but it's still the same small shelter it was before. Hope they do some real remodeling soon, there's no enough room to hold a dozen of climbers comfortably.
That, and the ventilation was horrible. The fumes from the stove made me ill.
I agree with you. Sometimes we have to sleep with the door wide open even if it's cold in order to avoid that.
