Thanks for sharing this day with us! I' ve tought about Ettaler Manndl in winter for so many times. Your photos make my legs nervous. I guess I have to do this trip this winter as well...

nice TR and great photos!

winter climbing is very close to my heart,so your TR reminded me about all advantages of it:cold and transparent air,wild and white summits,no people,silence...yes,yes..You know I love it even when strong wind blows and when it snows..such himalayan weather..I know I'm crazy..but I'm in love with white mountains;))

today I was further south on Daniel, normally a tame hike I had screaming, icy wind. All part of the adventure in winter climbing! Nice TR, great to see some Ammergau activity!

Das Oberammergau zum Allgäu zu zählen tut vielen Oberbayern aber in der Seele weh!

Das Ettaler Manndl gehört zu den Ammergauer Alpen, wenn Du aber nach Westen schaust, wie auf dem einen oder anderen Foto, erwischt Du die Allgäuer... Ansonsten sind natürlich erstmal die Ammergauer vorne dran... ;-)
