Ice Cliff Glacier Couloir

Ice Cliff Glacier Couloir

View of the rock walls at the top of the west branch of Ice Cliff Glacier Couloir. Our tracks are visible below the wall on the right where we searched in vain for an easy out. After an interesting leader fall from the rock which was protected by a tied off "wart hog" wedged in a crack, we opted to dig our way through the cornice where there was no exposed rock. Memory Lane!

Nice shot that brings back the memories! I
thought it seemed steep when I soloed it! LOL
I went through the cornice just to the left
of the rock. Yes, without a rope it was a
little scary! :-)
