Re: Thanks BarryThe first time I climbed this route, we got off route (on the first pitch!!) and took most of the day finishing the route. Remembering that the 1st ascentionists took only slightly more than 3 hours, it was a little embarassing to take so long for a repeat of such a well-traveled route. So, although it was a little bit of work, it made sense to help others avoid our mistake. The last time we climbed this route, it took only about 2 hours because the route-finding was no longer an issue. The route-finding is not overly difficult here, but it is a big face, with lots of options. Anyway, David, thanks for the kind words.

This is great stuff! This represents what SP is all about - original route/climb beta not found elsewhere. Not sure who'd vote it lower than 4-stars?

GreatGreat stuff-
I sure could have used this info when we did it last summer. You have any pictures around the Great Alcove this area is a little tricky after leaving the Washboards.

Re: GreatI don't have any good photos of the alcove area, but you're right, that area right before the Fresh Air Traverse is a bit confusing if you haven't been there before.
