Stubborn snow-shoe ascent
A ski "Felle" (skin) malfunction on the way up from Lüsens, and darn it, I knew I couldn't make it with skis. Luckily, I had snowshoes and boots in the car. I went back, changed my gear then headed back up. Wind and snow and cloud...but eventually I stood on top.

From Westfalenhaus to Winnebachseehütte
We traversed the Hoher Seeblaskogel on the way from the Westfalenhaus to the Winnebachseehütte. The Grüne Tatzen ferner was still totally covered with snow. Was a nice climb with a lot of variety. Descending to the Winnebachseehütte gave a very nice view of the Bachfallenferner (shall post the picture soon).

Ski tour
A nearly too late ascent with skies during one of the last good ski tour days in winter 2009/2010. Many avalanches ....

Traverse
From Winnebachseehütte, descent via Grüne-Tatzen-Ferner to Westfalenhaus. Very beautiful fall sunday, very tranquil, no body except mine anywhere around the whole day.
