We should have done the same. Instead my climbng partner and I decided to wait until Sunday. Weather was perfect up until we hit 13,300' at 8:30am. Then all hell broke loose at 13,600' and the mountain was attacked by a lenticular cloud with 40-50 MPH winds at the top of Misery Hill and Zero visability. Luckily we brought up wands and had marked the hill for us and the remaining descenders. The mountain can certainly be finicky.
