Lonely area
Dennis Poulin, Ken Jones and I visited this one over the memorial day weekend and while in the area saw no other vehicles at all. Once we left pavement, we were on our own but it was nice to have 3 vehicles so in case of breakdown, we were covered. The mountain area is very pretty and is horse heaven. The crux is finding your way to the end of the road and the hike itself is trivial. Probably saw well over a hundred wild horses during our stay and we were blessed with a perfect day of weather while we were here. We had done Goshute Peak the day before and camped at the end of the road.
